Build the practices and evidence behind institutional excellence
Assessment readiness depends on more than a complete submission. Organisations need management practices that are applied consistently, evidence that can be traced and results that show what those practices achieve.
BOI supports the use of the EFQM Model and relevant government excellence frameworks, including the Qatar Government Excellence Model and award requirements. The applicable model, assessment tool and cycle are agreed before work begins.
How BOI helps
- Review current practices and results against the relevant requirements.
- Identify strengths, gaps and improvement priorities through document reviews and working discussions.
- Map available evidence to requirements and identify missing ownership, deployment or results information.
- Develop improvement plans with responsibilities, milestones and measures of progress.
- Facilitate focused working sessions so client teams can maintain the evidence and improvement process.
Focused organisational development
Where the assessment identifies a defined need, the engagement can address HR excellence practices, innovation management or knowledge management. Work is scoped around the issue to be resolved and the outputs the organisation can implement.
Typical deliverables
A gap assessment; a requirements and evidence matrix; a prioritised improvement plan; selected practice or policy documents; and an internal readiness review. Internal reviews are advisory exercises, separate from official assessment or award decisions.
Intended outcome
A more coherent relationship between what the organisation does, how it demonstrates implementation and how it learns from results. Client teams leave with clearer ownership of the work needed before assessment.
What the engagement needs from you
The applicable assessment guidance, access to practice and results owners, and evidence that can be reviewed and validated with the organisation.
